We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
Is that on a napkin?
This feels like someone's answers for the "two truths and a lie" ice-breaker game...
These gals are shoo-ins for the Doublemint Twins 2009, jauntily walking about in their sportswear, changing into golf shoes, then the bowling shoes. Hmmm...if only they were figure skaters, too.
My dad lives in a van behind the donut store.
I agree with Kermit. Or this person was considering speed dating and wanted to have three (interesting) facts ready.
I vote twin sister as the lie
You hope the twin sister is the lie. Who would want to have such a lame ass twin brother?
Looks like stuff for one of those "icebreaker games" for church youthgroup parties. "List three interesting facts about yourself." Which of course doesn't rule out at least one of them being a lie, or at least an embroidered version of the truth.
What the hey, I was State Champion of Interpretive Poetry Reading when I was 15. Speech Contest was a big deal at that time, in that place. It was the only "award" I ever got, and they didn't give it out at assembly like they did sports stuff...I just got it in the mail. *Sigh*
ahhhh...2 truths and a lie...used to love playing that game
Anyone remember what happened last time we had a find like this?

I like the word avid. I am an avid fan of the the word avid.
Everyone needs a set of 'daily affirmations' like these to make it through tough times. Hang tough, girrrrl.
All your Panda are belong to us!
With Global Warming, are icebreakers even necessary anymore? (ZING!)
i definitely think that being a golfer is the lie. its either a lie because the way it is articulated is a little sarcastic or this kid is extremely arrogant and a little snooty.
@mom: I'm going to use that line from now on.
The paper was cut off. The next two lines said:
"I was beat up often when I was 15."
"By my sister."
I am an archaeologist
I have a pet alligator named elvis
I was an Ohioan
of course, one is a lie...
I am
I have
I was
@CADIE: See? THIS is why I still read Found ... occasionally there is a HILARIOUS response like yours. Cheers! (I wonder how many people got it?)
P.S. Ironic, in a way, that the same day that CADIE is announced my Spam question is: 1+1+1=? ... at least I didn't have to get bring up Excel this time. The computers are dumbing it down for us.
@ Just You, yeah, you- in LG WI
On the other hand, you have

(only 28 comments, compared to the 264 at the Umbrella one. Guess no one wanted to play with pickles and licorice.)
I am an avid golfer.
I have a twin sister.
I was Jr. State Champion for bowling when I was 15.
I had it all.
I had two nice shiny big balls.
I gave them up for a single little one.
I get winded easily when I walk the golf course.
When I get tired I run into the woods pretending to look for my ball, or to pee, and my twin sister comes back and finishes my round.
The people I play with are never fooled by this as we are fraternal twins and I'm a guy.
My golf partners play along to be nice because she's a better player than me and looks great in a golf sweaters...
Plus I hear she's a lot of fun at the 19th hole.
I wait in the car for her.
@hiplainsdrifter: that's awesome.
I can see the twin sister wearing a vulgar T-shirt that says "19th Hole" on the front with an arrow pointing down. Or, for the gay community, the words and arrow would be on the back.
Not having to do with this find -
but on this current event >
if you were walking down the street and found this note would you post it on FOUND? and what would the caption be?

@Mom interrupted--that's quite the zinger! Ha!
Looks like no one but She's a Black Belt wants to play. Baby Basil played a little, but only named one thing? I'll wait until a few more people have warmed to the idea....
I am a librarian.
I am a woman.
I am a man.
@ Laughing in sanely ... you're welcome. I checked for something first thing this morning. Those folks just HAD to observe the day in some appropriate fashion.
I'LL PLAY!
I am an avid scuba diver.
I have twin dogs.
I was in the Miss America Pageant.
(Like Librarian, one of the above is not true)
I am a woman.
I am not, not at work.
I live in a van.
A part was cut off the end of this message. It said, "April fools!" Pat wasn't a golfer, was an only child, and couldn't bowl.
I am a teacher.
I have an irrational fear of untied shoelaces.
I was not able to win a spelling bee.
before reading the comments, i thought this was some kind of 'guess who i am' game card. since i don't follow sports i thought the answer was one of those tennis sisters (williams?)
I abhor golf
I have a brother people think is my twin
I like spinach pie
I looooooooooooooove spinach pie!
Is this a resume?
Oh, oh...upon reading Sam in sane's guess though, I'm sure he (she?) has it. It's a guess who I am game--maybe for an orientation ice breaker? Has to be something like that.
Or, Heaven forbid, maybe these notes were meant to help a painfully shy Freshman make it through a first date. Hope it went well.
@ Librarian: So does this mean you've got a little Victor/Victoria thing going on? heheheheh
"And today, I committed a first degree felony... with my trophies and golf club. It was my sister."
My grandmother's name is Buffalo.
I read in the shower.
I burned the chicken!
I just KNEW Librarian wasn't really a librarian....
I WAS able to win a spelling bee.
I had my first(and only)child at 36.
I lived in Japan when I was 2.
*yawn*
I am reading found instead of getting ready to go to work
I am not allergic to anything
I haven't taken a shower since fall of 08.
I bet this person was starting a '25 random things' list for Facebook!

1) List a hobby
2) List a neat fact
3) List your greatest accomplishment
They were probably playing two truths and a lie!
