We were sitting down for dinner at a local Greek restaurant when my husband found this under the napkin dispenser on the dining table. We can’t help but try to imagine what would make a child write and hide this note. And mom is wrong– babies do indeed smile.

    I have heard people say “Babies don’t smile, it’s just gas on their stomachs.” I prefer my Danish granny’s explanation. She said that tiny babies can still see angels that people over 3 can’t.
    I just visited my BFF and her week-old son. At one point, he smiled. He may not be able to see clearly, but he definitely smiled.
