FOUND by Clover in a closet

I’ve had this tablet of erasable bond typing paper for many years. I was organizing these papers and putting them on the shelf when I noticed this masterpiece on the cardboard backing of the tablet of typing paper. I have never seen it in my life. It scared me, sorta– just to think that it’s been in my house all that time, scowling on the back of the tablet, just waiting for its entrance at a vulnerable moment! Who is Eddiie? Eddie 13? Eddie and the Cruisers?

Btw,some might think there is no furither use for these old erasable typing papers, but I’ve been using them in my printer and they work just fine. Kind of thin and wispy, but that’s cool if you want to send a letter. It will not weigh more than an ounce. One stamp.

    I never listened to Iron Maiden, but it’s funny what our brains pick up that we don’t even know about. When I first saw the picture, I wondered why it looked familiar…then about 15 seconds later thought, “this makes me think of Iron Maiden or something.”

    Okay, it’s not so scary, now that I know it’s someone who makes music. Not familiar with Iron Maiden (although I’ve heard of them). No teenage boys in my house, but I did have a teenage girl. This isn’t something she would draw. But one of her boyfriends may have, I suppose. However if “88″ is a date, it was drawn the year she was born. This may have come from my art school days – I graduated in 1988. In fact, that’s the most likely source of this tablet of old typing paper. I probably brought it home from a discard pile of papers, thinking I might use it for drawing or typing. Back then I still used a typewriter sometimes, even though I got my first computer in 1987.
