On Halloween my house gets a lot of trick-or-treaters. A LOT. This year we estimate that about 1,200 kids came by our house. When cleaning up after Halloween I found this note on the floor on a crumpled 3×5 card. Perhaps this was dropped by one of the moms?

I found these set of photos in an envelope in a little op shop where I used to volunteer. When I opened the packet I felt like I was sneaking glances at someones misplaced memories. Did they know they’d thrown them out? Was it a relative who chucked them when cleaning out the deceaseds house? Either way, they’re beautiful. I don’t know what to do with them. But I’ll never throw them away.

My husband found this in our front yard. We live in a very urban area, and our house is across from the main gathering spot for the young’uns on the block. Sometimes all their noise and rowdiness drives us crazy, but after finding this, my soft spot for them has grown three sizes.
