FOUND by Tanya in Seacliff Beach, California
Today was senior ditch day for the class of ’08 and we went to Seacliff Beach, a little past Ventura. When we got there there was this really cool hut made from drift wood that we basically stayed by the whole time. I was sitting under it and the corner of this was sticking out.

I was walking home from the train station in my town after a tiring day. I tend to look down a lot, since I am prone to tripping or stepping in things. Then, I spied this find stuck to a brick in the path around the station! It’s very sticky on the back and looks like someone made it from a Priority Mail shipping label.

My friends found this at a party we were at. It was on the ground in the alley where the party was taking place, and I was so excited I grabbed it from them so I could send it in. On the other side is written “Fish Girl” in odd curly handwriting with hearts for dots over the “i”s.

This photo slipped out of a stack of used books I purchased at a library sale in central Arkansas. I don’t know which book it came out of, but it was a dog or cat book. The back of the photo says Nov. 1976. I think it is adorable. If I were the owner of the photo, and if this is the only copy that exists, I’d want it back.
