I saw this piece of paper on the street, at the intersection of Bivins & James Streets. It was early Sunday morning and I was walking the dog and picking up trash. I picked it up. The poem is written on the back of a portion of the wine list from some restaurant.
Found while cleaning a house for renovation. I believe the previous owner died but the house was still full of things no one claimed. I saw this picture and couldn’t bring myself to throw it away. The back reads: “Aunt Jessie and Terry / Martha – went to Goucher & her brother Tom / WWII – his dog tags were found”

I found this Polaroid in a slipcased, leather-bound copy of the Complete Works of Shakespeare, marking Romeo and Juliet. On the back is written, “My Heart is Laid Open for You, Darlin’, Happy Valentine’s Day, 1966 (Age 16).”
While serving on jury duty, I found this note written on a page halfway through the court-issued notebooks they give you. Is this person speaking from personal experience or passing on advice gained from a case they sat on? Probably a more interesting case than the one I sat on.
