Found this at the local credit union on the table where you fill out your deposit slips. The best part? At the moment I found it, the bank’s Muzak started playing “Sometimes When We Touch”! How appropriate.

I found this dinosaur poster at an intersection near my house when I was walking home from the local market. It contains lots of dinosaur facts as well, as some more subjective statements (“Dinosaurs fight bad animals”). This is one of my all-time favorite finds and I can only hope that the person who created the poster got the appropriate recognition for their creation before losing/disposing of it at the intersection of 30th and B.

I was taking down the lathe and plaster in my house (built in 1927) and found this photo. It was held in the walls with a nail. A really old lady was walking by my house last year and said she used to play with the girls that lived here in the 30′s. Sadly, I couldn’t find the picture to see if she recognized any of them.

I found this in my suburban neighborhood. It was one of two photos on a yellowed photo album page. I especially like the lady in the lower right-hand corner; she seems so happy for the couple. This must be from the ’30s or ’40s (if someone can identify the car, maybe we can pin it down).
