FOUND by Hailey in Sitka, Alaska

I found this in our school library in a pile of papers by the printer that nobody had claimed. It could be a haiku, but it has one extra syllable.

I was going through my mom’s old cookbook and found this. My mom has no idea who Donna Lee is or who could’ve written it.

FOUND by Meaghan

Last year, I found this photograph stapled randomly to a bulletin board at my high school. I picked it up and kept it because it made me laugh. The person’s arm has more hair than the dog!

Found this on Wolf Road; I thought this was a pretty touching card, especially from the vet.

FOUND by Ellie in Newark, Delaware

I found this in a bush on my college campus. The back of the card has Greek letters and the name “Jen”, so I suppose it was part of a sorority pledge game. Or maybe Jen just really needed to get something off her chest.

FOUND by Jason in Danville, California

My son had a tantrum, and I gave him a twenty minute time-out in his room. After twenty minutes I went up to his room, and he was gone. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find him. I go back to his room and see this note (he buried himself in boxes under his bed it turns out).

FOUND by Kegan Simons in Chicago, Illinois

I found this love letter/threat on a vacant seat on the #76 east-bound bus, on the way to DJ at Delilah’s one unseasonably warm evening.
