I work for the Purdue University Police Department and found this on the sidewalk on campus.

I found this page displayed in an East Bay Express newspaper box at the corner of 27th and Broadway. It’s either a list of personal resolutions or recommendations on how someone else should live.

I found this on my door a few days ago. My kids have grown and gone now, but I was sure tempted to call Martin anyway. I’m especially intrigued about the kids staying ‘helthy.’

I found this post-it shopping list affixed to my cart at the local Vons grocery store. All of the items are your standard shopping list staples & except for the last one. For the life of me, I can’t figure out what “Elbow Nude L’s” are. Elbow macaroni? A special brand of nylons? A CD by an obscure Brit-pop band?

Went to Denny’s in Little Tokyo to have a nice breakfast. They were busy so the busboy didn’t clean well. I’m guessing a child left this for the next occupant of the booth (they were having a promotion for Sea World in San Diego).

Found this on the floor in the arts block in my school. It was very crumpled and on the back of a piece of paper ripped off of a worksheet.

Obviously a rough night … who was Hattie? What (or who) is GH? Are the blotches tears? What struck me most about this note is the smiley face at the end … maybe hope that things will get better?

My daughter and I were out for our daily walk at 6:00, Monday morning. What a beautiful way to start the day and the week. It definitely touched us and made our smiles a little brighter.

I found this outside of a gym in Williamsburg. Instant laugh. Got my attention. Might have bought the pew if it were there still.

My classmates and I were working on a project in an empty dance studio at the University of Texas, and I had a printout of an email another classmate received, detailing the requirements of the project. I accidentally left it in the studio after class one day, and a week went by before I was able to get it back. When I did eventually get it back, this dazzling duo was drawn on the back side. Notice the two different styles of drawing and handwriting.
