Girls Night Out

I found this pic in an envelope of lost/forgotten/abandoned pictures we keep behind the counter at the drug store where I work. The date on the back says “30JUN00″. I’ve always liked this photo because there is fun and movement there. You get the sense it’s Friday night and the party has just started.

This was put on my car a few months ago. I thought I threw it away, but I found it the other day in the midst of my packing-to-move frenzy. Isn’t it weird? I don’t know whether it’s creepy or sort of sweet that this person spent all of this time (I mean glitter and everything) on these weird messages and then went around putting them on people’s cars.

3rd Eye

The day after I found your website I went looking desperately for a “find” and didn’t come up with much. That night, as I was carrying out my custodial duties (collecting the trash at a Hay and Grain office) I caught a glimpse of this photo in a secretary’s trash can. I am stunned that anyone would discard such a beautiful picture, but their loss is our gain. What fascinates me about the picture is the fact that the dog had to move its head very precisely during the exposure to have both eyes seem to meet in the middle. In other words- he clearly did it on purpose, and in the process was trying to communicate his “3rd eye” perception to his owners. I don’t think they got it.
