I found these this on a media card in a video camera I bought. I purchased the camera in March on clearance because it was “open box,” so I am guessing it was a Christmas picture from someone who just wasn’t happy with the camera and returned it. It totally freaked me out when I dumped a bunch of pictures into iPhoto- saw the photo, and thought to myself, “who the hell is THAT??”
This was taped to the glass front door of the Silver Dragon Chinese Restaurant. Through the glass one could witness the charred remains of the kitchen. Found on December 25, 2004, when I visited my parents for Christmas.

I found this piece of torn cardboard just up the street from my house in Cole Valley. I picture a teenager writing it, maybe experimenting with a god complex, or maybe just making a list of morbid verbs. Apparently, “confuse” didn’t make the cut.
I had just moved into a new house where some dodgy pipe work kept me awake at night. At 4 am during a fit of sleepless rage I pulled up the floorboards to find not pipes, but this note. As far as I am aware there are no schools nearby but what concerns me more than that is how someone thinks “kiddies” playing football at school is a crime. Also how Margaret felt the need to tell the author of this note about it, who in turn felt the need to tell their mother. The note is also written on the back of a vehicle inspection form which resulted in a ‘fail’ so I’m guessing good news didn’t come around that often in this house.
