Found at Waveland and Albany in Chicago. It is awfully sweet, but what is that ‘w’ word?

I found this in an outside zipper compartment of a purse I bought at a garage sale in Oklahoma. This can’t possibly be this little girl’s real hair, and I really hope she wasn’t planning on driving after the picture was taken, although she seems to take herself pretty seriously and probably THOUGHT she was going to get to drive.

I was going through a set of old books donated to the library by the family of a recently deceased leading citizen. This note was in one well-worn textbook. I don’t know if this note was directed at him, from him, or why he kept it all these years in a book he probably used throughout his professional life.

This was in the bushes near the smoking area of my barracks, folded in half with the words facing outwards, as if it was one of those nametags you put on your desk. I’m terribly curious what situation called for a nametag saying “I’m wearing women’s underwear.”

While flying cross-country last year, I requested the vegan in-flight meal, out of curiosity. After I’d finished, I picked up the tray to toss it in the trash, and found this note underneath. The main portion actually hadn’t been fruit, but beans and rice, with a few strawberries on the side. I found it interesting that it would be classified as a “fruit” meal, especially since I was bound for the notoriously gay city of San Francisco.
