In 2004, we loaded up the van with finds and came to visit you — Found parties in all 50 states! What happened at these Found parties?? Found madness!! Davy shared our favorite finds of all-time and got rowdy and rambunctious and just generally acted a fool, Peter (The Poem Adept) banged out new tunes based on FOUND notes, and we asked you to share your own finds! We held FOUND bashes at bars, bookstores, cafes, art spaces, colleges, prisons, army bases, and an old abandoned train-car.
The Slapdance Across America tour was amazing!!! We owe enormous, boundless thanks to friends in all 50 states who helped make this tour a reality. Thanks so much to everyone who came out to the FOUND parties, and to those who hosted the events, spread word about the events, let us sleep on their couches and floors, and brought us whiskey and cereal. All of your generosity, hard work, and dazzling energy is forever appreciated!
